My Summary

This is my summary of the season so far and my predictions for the end of the season:

  • Surprise Package: Burnley
  • Title Winners: Manchester City
  • Relegation: Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion and Southampton
  • Golden Boot: Harry Kane
  • Golden Glove: David De Gea

Title Winners

I think that Manchester City shall win the Premier League because they have won all of their games apart from four which have been 3 draws and 1 loss.

This has never been achieved before now and surely 2nd place Manchester United and 3rd place Liverpool can`t turn around this 16 and 18 point lead.

Their midfield which contains superstar Kevin De Bruyne, playmaker David Silva and top tackler Fernandinho is a key part in Manchester City`s record breaking success this season.

Relegation Candidates

I think the relegated teams will be Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion and Southampton because of all their appalling recent run of forms.

Surprise Package

Burnley – I see them as the season`s surprise package because of their league position in 7th. They currently have 33 points this season, 8 less than they managed in the whole of last season.

Golden Boot

Harry Kane – I think he will win the golden boot because of his ridiculous form and his records he has just broken.

He has just broken Lionel Messi`s record of the most goals scored in a year and Alan Shearer`s record of the most Premier League goals scored in a year, a record which stood for 22 years.

Golden Glove

Courtois – I think that he is the 2nd best goalkeeper in the Premier League, David De Gea being the best but the reason I think Courtois will win is because he is a solid keeper with a solid defence in front of him, however David De Gea is a world class keeper with an average defence who lets the oppositions attackers through on goal most games, and that is why I see Thibaut Courtois pipping David De Gea to the Golden Glove.
